Little League Canada - Lakehill

Parents/Volunteers

We are a co-operative park, relying on volunteers throughout the season. As a parent or guardian of a player at Lakehill, we will require you to do volunteer shifts during the season.

The great news is that there are many different ways you can volunteer.  The duties that count towards your volunteer shifts are:

  • Weekly Clean Up  - Bathrooms, sweep and mop floors.

  • Field Maintenance – cutting grass

  • Field prep during tournaments

  • Park Maintenance – empty all garbage cans, clean near dumpsters, clean out dugouts

  • Uniforms – Help sort and organize uniforms with Uniform Coordinator

  • Lining the fields before the game

  • Raking the field

  • Scorekeeping

  • Occasional concession shifts

  • Removing the bases and raking the fields after a game

Participation is what makes a community thrive and grow so we thank you in advance. The number of shifts required will depend on the number of players that have enrolled for that year. You will be contacted by your team manager to let you know the dates and duties that you will be responsible for.

You must fulfill your shifts or pay $100. If you do not want to volunteer you may pay the $100 per player fee up front.
