Umpiring 101 – "4, 3, 3: The basics of umpiring"
Saturday, April 7, 2018 – Lakehill Little League – 9:00am – 3:00pm (registration at 8:00am)
What is the role of an umpire? How do I know where I should be on the field? What is the correct mechanic to use? This clinic is for all umpires of all ages that are new to umpiring or looking for a solid refresher in the game. Mechanics, Rules, and Scenarios will be covered in this 6-hour clinic hosted by the Senior Umpires of District 7. Please dress for the weather, bring a water bottle, lunch, and snacks. Umpires may bring baseball gloves to help facilitate some of the scenario work.

Umpiring 201 – "Between The Lines"
Sunday, April 8, 2018 – Layritz Little League – 1:00pm – 4:00pm (registration at 12:30)
This more intense clinic is designed for umpires with at least one year of on field experience and is designed to go beyond the everyday of umpiring. This scenario-based clinic will see on field situations and break down some of the rules that are commonly misunderstood or inappropriately applied. Be prepared to have your knowledge of the game challenged! Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and snacks.
