U10 (8-10 year olds) – Tier 1 and Tier 2
U12 (11&12 year olds) – B and C
U14 (13&14 year olds) – B and C
U16 (15&16 year olds) – B and C
U19 (17&18 year olds) – B and C

Please remember that in Softball BC age groupings are for the age that you are turning in the calendar year. 

Pre-season Indoor Practices:

For players interested in getting ready for the season and/or playing B level softball begining in January and runing until the March break!
Please attend the pre-season practices for your respective age category:

U10 (2011, 2010, 2009) players:
Wednesday evenings (starts Wednesday January 9), Doncaster Elementary School (1525 Rowan Street, off Cedar Hill Road), 6:00 - 7:30 PM
 

U12 (2008, 2007) players:
Wednesday evenings (starts Wednesday January 9), Doncaster Elementary School (1525 Rowan Street, off Cedar Hill Road), 7:30 – 9:00 PM
B program assessments will be Wednesday January 23rd, (and 30th if needed), 7-9pm
 

U14 (2006, 2005) players:
Sunday afternoon/evenings (starts Sunday January 6), Royal Oak Middle School (4564 W Saanich Rd), 3:00 – 4:30 PM
B program assessments will be Sunday January 20th (and 27th if needed), 3:00 – 4:30pm
 

U16 (2004, 2003) players:
Sunday afternoon/evenings (starts Sunday January 6), Royal Oak Middle School (4564 W Saanich Rd), 4:15 – 5:45 PM
B program assessments will be Sunday January 13th (and 20th if needed) 4:15 – 6:00pm
 

U19 (2002, 2001, 2000):
Sunday evenings (starts Sunday January 6), Royal Oak Middle School (4564 W Saanich Rd), 6:30 – 8:00 PM
B program assessments will be Sunday January 6th (and 13th if needed), 6:30 – 8:00pm
 

U23 (1999, 1998, 1997, 1996):
Please contact Lori Zehr (zehrl@camosun.bc.ca) regarding attendance - Sunday evenings (starts Sunday January 13), Royal Oak Middle School (4564 W Saanich Rd), 6:30 – 8:00 PM

NOTES:

• This year our pre-season training sessions will have a registration fee of $35 in order to support gym rentals and other clinic expenses.  Thank you for your support. 
• A limited number of new indoor practice t-shirts will also be available for $15 each – available the first weeks in January.
• If you have any questions related to the B program or age division assessments, or are interested in playing B level fastball but unable to attend the scheduled pre-season practices or assessment dates, please contactlakehill-softball@shaw.ca
• Details about our specialized pitching and catching clinics are being communicated separately.

Coaching Applications:

We are now seeking (new and returning) Coaches and Assistant Coaches for the 2019 season.  Please send an email to softball-lakehill@shaw.ca indicating the age division and category you are interesting in Coaching (if known).  If you would like to be considered for a Head Coach role please include a paragraph in your email as to why you would like to Head Coach and how you can contribute to the role as Head Coach.

Any parents interested in coaching this upcoming season are welcome to assist and participate in the above listed pre-season indoor practices.  It’s a great way to learn some new techniques and drills.
